What is a Recognized Environmental Condition (REC)?

A REC is the presence or likely presence of hazardous substances on a property under conditions that indicate an existing release or a material threat of a release.

Do I need to include sampling?

Sampling is optional and conditionally required if contamination is suspected. The template includes a repeatable sampling section.

Who signs the report?

The environmental consultant (assessor) and optionally a reviewer sign the report. Digital signatures are supported.
