Batch Actions on Photos in a Photo Report

Batch actions allow you to quickly process many images in a photo report. The function is used for simultaneous editing, deletion, or annotation of selected photos without having to edit each one individually. This is especially important when working with large photo documentation, where speeding up report preparation is critical.

Where Batch Actions Are Available

Batch operations are performed directly within the photo report interface.

Selecting photos

A checkbox system is used to work with images:
  • each photo cell has a checkbox;
  • you can select one or more photos;
  • on each page there is a global checkbox that:
    • selects all photos;
    • deselects all images.
The global checkbox applies to all pages of the photo report, not just the current page.

Batch actions panel

Action icons are located next to the global checkbox. Available operations:
  • delete photos;
  • batch captioning;
  • rotate images clockwise;
  • rotate images counterclockwise.

  • select the photos;
  • click the batch caption icon;
  • enter the caption text;
  • apply the changes.

Usage specifics

  • the description applies to all selected photos;
  • used for typical or repetitive captions;

Batch captioning:
  • significantly speeds up photo report preparation;
  • ensures a uniform caption style;
  • reduces manual input when working with photo tables.

Rotating Images

Available operations

For selected photos, you can:
  • rotate clockwise;
  • rotate counterclockwise.

Execution specifics

  • rotation is applied immediately after clicking;
  • no confirmation is required;
  • you can rotate no more than 50 photos in one operation.
  • Why this is important

    Rotating images:
    • allows quick correction of photo orientation;
    • eliminates the need for editing outside the service;
    • speeds up photo documentation preparation.

    Practical Application

    Batch actions are used in the following scenarios:

    • preparing photo reports with many images;
    • processing results of inspections and field work;
    • unifying captions in photo tables;
    • cleaning the report of unnecessary or duplicate photos;
    • correcting image orientation after upload.

    Limitations and Specifics

    When using batch actions, keep in mind:

    • actions apply only to selected photos;
    • deletion requires confirmation;
    • rotation is limited to 50 images per operation;
    • batch captioning replaces or sets a single text for all selected photos.

    Why Batch Actions Are Important

    The batch photo processing function:

    • reduces photo report preparation time;
    • simplifies management of large numbers of images;
    • lowers the chance of errors during manual processing;
    • increases efficiency when working with photo documentation.
    Using batch actions is especially critical in B2B scenarios where photo reports contain dozens or hundreds of images.
